The object is circular in form and rectangular in cross section, with two rounded 'ear' like projections with circular fastening holes close to each other on its outer edge. Medieval copper alloy buckle plate, 32mm in length, 19mm wide and 1mm thick with a weight of 7.84grams. The plate is rectangular in form and cross section. It is formed of a folded sheet with part of the buckle frame still inside the fold. The buckle pin emerges from sub rectangular hole in the centre of the folded edge. The far edge has two circular holes in each corner which still house the rivets on one plate. One face has an inscribed abstract design, consisting of several wavy lines in an incised rectangular border.

Medieval copper alloy strap end fragment, 21mm in length, 17mm wide and 2mm thick with a weight of 2.93grams. The fragment is part of the central frame of a three part strap end. The object consists of the lower central part and has a crescentric shaped and rectangular cross sectioned incomplete plate. In teh centre of its outer rounded edge it has an 'acorn' shaped terminal which has a D shaped cross section and has a rounded collar where it joins the plate. On the opposite side of the plate is a corresponding small rectangular shaped and cross sectioned projection.

Roman copper alloy trumpet brooch fragment, 36mm in length, 8mm wide and 5mm thick with a weight of 2.32grams. The fragment represents the lower bow. This has a D shaped cross section and tapers in width slightly to a rounded stepped foot. The upper part is decorated with a rectangular shaped and semi-circular cross sectioned projection. Under this are three raised collars. The catchplate is triangular in form and extends to the foot.
