An incomplete decorated flat axe of the Early Bronze Age, dating from c. 2000 BC - 1700 BC. This fits with Early Bronze Age (EBA phase II / III), of metalworking stage IV-VI, which corresponds to Needham's (1996) Period 2-3 circa 2250 - 1900 CAL. BC.
The flat axe is broadly sub-rectangular in plan with a splayed crescent shaped blade. In profile it is broadly lentoid(pointed oval), with slight tapering edges. In cross section the axe is lentoid. An incomplete copper alloy 'Horn Cap' of the Middle to Late Iron Age, dating from c. BC 300 - c. AD 43.
The horn cap consists of two circular discs, one larger than the other. The shaft and decorative terminals are missing, presumed lost in antiquity.

An incomplete, copper alloy, Crescent Type Aesica brooch of the Late Iron Age to Roman period, dating from c. AD 40 - c. AD 80.
Around 50% of the brooch remains, the spring, pin, foot and catch plate are missing, presumed lost in antiquity.
The brooch is broadly rectangular in plan and broadly C shaped in section. The wings project from either side of the brooch, forming a T shape. An incomplete copper alloy Polden Hill brooch of the Roman period, circa AD 80-120.
Most of the brooch is present, consisting of the head, bow, both wings, most of the spring, axis bar, catchplate and foot. The pin and the central section of the spring are missing, presumed lost in antiquity.
