A complete, lead or lead alloy shot of the Post Medieval period, dating from c. AD 1600 - AD 1800. The shot is broadly spherical in plan and circular in section. There are two ovular shaped dents in the surface which could be possible bite or tooth marks. No casting seam or sprue is present on the surface. The shot shows signs of post depositional damage in the form of minor scratches, pitting and denting on the surface. The shot measures 17.1 mm in diameter and is 17.1 mm thick. It weighs 28.2 g.
