A complete, knapped flint borer of probably the Neolithic or Bronze Age period, dating from c. 4000 - c. 800 BC. The flint is broadly D-shaped in plan and and rectangular in cross-section. The bulb of percussion and bulbar scar is visible on the dorsal face at the proximal end of the flint. Several falkes have been removed from each face at varying angles, each shows evidence of a conchoidal fracture (ripple marks) on the surface.
