A complete fragment of a probable buckle of the Post Medieval period, dating from c. AD 1500 - c. AD 1700. The object is L shaped in plan and rectangular in section. It appears to be undecorated but the surface is heavily corroded and there are indentations and depressions in the surface and raised areas which may be decoration. There is a break at each end of the fragment, the breaks appear to have the same patina as the rest of the object and it appears it was broken in antiquity.
