An incomplete copper alloy and enamel umbonate disc brooch of the Roman period, dating from c. AD 100 to c. AD 250. Approximately 45% of the brooch is present, consisting of the central conical boss, part of the rim and the catchplate. The rest of the rim, and pin are missing presumed lost in antiquity. The brooch is circular in form, and C-shaped in section.
