A complete rim sherd of a wheel thrown vessel of the Post Medieval period, dating from c. AD 1600 - c. AD 1800. The rim sherd consists of a fabric similar to that known as Glazed Red Earthen Ware, dating from the 17th - 19th century. The sherd is broadly triangular in plan. The interior is a deep red in colour with a brown glaze on the surface, the edges of the glaze appear blackened, the glaze continues until the edge of the rim.
