A circular copper alloy trade weight of the Modern period, probably dating from c. AD 1837 - c. AD 1901. The trade weight is circular in shape, and rectangular in cross section. The obverse has a raised rim of 2.4 mm width, with a circular engraved border as decoration. Two more concentric engraved circles are present on the obverse. A complete copper alloy book or box mount or clasp of the Modern period, dating from c. AD 1850 - c. AD 1940. The mount is broadly trapezoidal in plan and rectangular in section. The left side of the object is longer than the right, and the edges are curved or wavy all around the object. It is decorated in an Art Deco style design of the sun's rays shining onto rolling hills as seen through a fence panel.
