A lead weight of unknown, probably modern, date. The weight is circular with an indistinct pattern on either side which consists of numerous lines radiating out from the centre where there are multiple peck marks . The piece measures 35.86mm in diameter, 3.95mm in thickness and weighs 34.51g, 1.214 ounces. As it is not close to a round weight in the avoisdupois system it is likely it was used for weighing down fabric etc and the decoration was casually done.

Cast lead weight in the shape of a truncated square based pyramid. The sides are upright in the lower part then change direction with a distinct carination to slope inwards to the flat top. The piece is now squashed flat with only a sort length surviving, one end may be complete or just worn straight, the other has a worn and patinated break. A lead suspension weight probably dating to the Medieval to Post Medieval period. The weight is sub-rectangular in shape.
