It is a tapering D section metal bar, with, at the wider upper end is an oval plate which includes, in relief, a laureate, draped Classical imperial bust, facing, The features are very detailed, but rather crudely executed. An incomplete stone object, a probable whetstone or hone stone of unknown date. The object is formed from a finely grained light brown stone with a few micaceous inclusions. It is rectangular, smooth, with rounded edges, as if manufactured, but has breaks at both ends, one at an angle to the whole block, the other a more or less straight break. A complete Late Iron Age to Early Roman period copper alloy skirted terret, dating to c 50BC - AD 200. It is made up of a stout oval cross section ring, now a little distorted, integral to a collar and short neck with a flange below - the skirt - which flares outwards and down, partly covering an oval loop on the underside. The upper ring shows action from the reins, very much thinner on one side, particularly the lower quarter, than the other. The lower loop may have been forged separately in manufacture and also shows wear, presumably from its attachment to the yoke.

An incomplete copper alloy annular frame of uncertain purpose and date, probably Post Medieval to Modern in date. It is an incomplete ring, convex and faceted on its upper surface, concave and faceted on its underside where there are three equidistantly spaced, rectangular cross section lugs. There may have been a fourth, but there is an early ragged break in the ring at the point where this would have been. Two of the lugs are bent over at the tip, the third may have lost its outer tip. A complete but bent Medieval copper alloy finger ring, probably dating to c. AD 1200 - 1450. The find has a sub circular bezel in which there is an irregular, sub oval, slightly purple coloured setting- possibly a gem, which stands proud of the bezel. There is a faint legend around the outside, which is rather illegible but appears to read, (+) (N/Z)_A_ENO(R/N) or +D(N/Z)_A_ENO(R/N)C. A complete, tightly rolled, Roman lead curse tablet, dating to c AD 43 - 410. It is made up of a rolled strip of lead, each layer between c 2.0- 3.0mm and there are approximately eight layers, tightly wound into a sub rectangular shape. There are very straight outer cut edges,where the layers show, perhaps cut after rolling. The layers are held by nails, three copper heads, hammered flush, showing along the cut outer end of the lead strip, itself roughly torn, and one head on each of the two adjacent sides, two more on the opposite side.

An incomplete Post Medieval to Modern copper alloy finger ring, probably dating to c AD1750-1900. It has an slim oval section hoop and a sub circular bezel with raised sides, effectively a collet.The bezel is empty,although there are many scratchmarks indise it. There is a circular cell in the centre. The edges of the bezel are decorated with tiny inverted triangular stamped or punched marks. Tiny areas of gilding are apparent below these marks.

A fragment of a Roman copper alloy Colchester derivative Polden Hill brooch, dating to c AD 80 - 175. A pale green crust seems to have been recently cleaned off in places, exposing a shiny silvery finish. Only the head and a very small piece of bow remain. There is no spring, although a separate pin was found with the item. The wings are semi cylindrical, made to cradle the spring, with end caps, to hold the axis bar which is still in place although one has a small break around its hole.
