Small square-sectioned green glass phial or possibly an inkwell of post medieval date, probably c. 18th to 19th century
The inkwell is near complete, with a damaged neck, which has probably broken just below the rim at the highest surviving point of the neck (with a maximum surviving height of 34.0mm and a weight of 19.7g). Blue glass bead, of uncertain date, possibly Roman, c. mid 1st century AD to late 4th century
The bead is of elongated-spherical form, wider at one end (with a length of 9.0mm and a weight of 1.1g, containing some sediment) and is pale-blue in colour. The faces are convex (giving a maximum diameter of 9.8mm) and the bead has a single, circular perforation, seemingly of uniform diameter (3.4mm diameter). Green-blue glass bead probably of Roman date, c. mid 1st century AD to late 4th century
The bead is of flattened, sub-spherical form and is complete (with a weight of 2.1g) and is of transluscent pale green-blue colour. The faces are convex (giving a maximum diameter of 14.5mm with a minimum diameter of 13.5mm) and the bead has a single, sub-circular perforation of consistent diameter (4.0mm - 4.7mm diameter).
