Medieval copper alloy seal matrix of 13th to 14th century date The seal is of pointed-oval form and is near complete, missing the suspension loop at the rear (with a length of 28.7mm, a width of 18.8mm, a surviving depth of 3.9mm, a thickness of 3.5mm and a weight of 7.0g). The stub of the loop is evident at the apex of the rear and elsewhere the rear in not decorated but is concave across its width. The edges are bevelled towards the seal face.
