Roman copper alloy harness fitting or terret of strap-mounted type of late 1st or 2nd century AD date. The cast terret is of double-looped (strap-mounted) form, is incomplete and eroded, missing the basal loop (with an overall surviving length of 50.2mm and a weight of 24.1g). Roman copper alloy bow brooch of Crossbow variant type and of 3rd or 4th century date The brooch is fragmentary, missing the pin, most of the foot and the end of one arm (with a surviving length of 64.0mm and a weight of 7.4g). The pin was hinged within sub-circular cylindrical arms formed by rolled sheet copper alloy (with a surviving length of 42.3mm and a diameter of 5.2mm - 6.1mm).
