Medieval copper alloy seal matrix of matrix of 13th or 14th century date The seal matrix is of circular form with a hexagonally-faceted handle (with a depth of 24.0mm and a weight of 9.7g). The handle is surmounted by a loop of trefoil form (5.2mm wide) with a ribbed moulding, flanked by grooves between the handle and loop. The matrix has a hexagonally-faceted handle with a suspension loop at the apex (with a length of 19.7mm and a weight of 4.0g). Medieval lead seal matrix of possible 13th century date. The seal is incomplete with peripheral damage and part of the edge near the apex with the start of inscription has been lost. The seal matrix was of circular form (of 25.7mm diameter and weighing 6.8g). There is a trunvcated semi-circular lug, probably the remnants of a perforated suspension lug (5.5mm in length, 3.5mm in width and 4.1mm in depth). Medieval lead seal matrix of 12th to 14th century date. The seal is near-complete but heavily-corroded and worn and was of pointed oval form (30.6mm long, 20.2mm wide, 2.7mm deep and weighing 7.8g). On the reverse there is a rectangular lug at the apex (4mm in length, 5.4mm in width and 3.3mm in depth), probably the remnants of a perforated suspension lug. The balance is near-complete, missing the central suspension loop and both scale pans and is now corroded with both arms extended upwards (with an original length across the beam of approximately 250mm and a weight of 53.3g).
