An incomplete lead-alloy spoon, dating from the post-Medieval period. Approximately two thirds of the bowl survives, and there is a horizontal crack in the remaining portion. This drop-shaped bowl has little curvature and, at the top, extends smoothly into the faceted stem. The knop has been lost in antiquity, and iron corrosion adheres to the top of the stem.

A lead-alloy spoon of post-Medieval date. The drop-shaped bowl has a slight curvature and, at the top of the upper surface, there is a punched maker's mark consisting of a letter 'W' within an incuse, circular field. A crack divides the upper third of the bowl from the lower two thirds. The stem has been attached to the top of the bowl's underside, has a sub-oval cross section and is bent just above the halfway point. A sub-ovoid knop with pair of inner grooves surmounts the stem.

A rim sherd from a copper-alloy plate or dish, dating from the post-Medieval period. The wall of the vessel forms an angle of approximately 45 degrees, with the rim itself being around 20 degrees. A moulded ridge, flanked by a pair of grooves, is located on the outer face of the vessel, near the base of the rim. On the inner wall there are two light grooves, which may be evidence of lathe finishing. Jagged edges form the three broken sides of the piece.

A medieval to post-Medieval copper-alloy thimble. A plain band extends around the base of the near-vertical wall of the thimble, which is otherwise covered with rows of sub-circular indentations. A spiral pattern of such indentations covers the slightly convex crown. Several similar thimbles were found in excavations at Southwark, mostly in layers dating from the late 15th to 17th centuries (Egan 2005: 131-133).

A fragment of a Roman Colchester-derivative brooch, dating from the 1st century AD. Only the head and upper part of the bow survive, with a well worn and patinated break at the base of the piece. The wings have a C-shaped cross section, with a double-perforated lug at the centre, which would have held the now-missing spring's axis bar and external chord.The remaining portion of the bow has straight sides which converge towards the break, and a central ridge extends downwards from the head's perforated lug.

A copper-alloy frame from a medieval single-loop buckle. The majority of the D-shaped frame has a triangular cross section, but the offset axis bar has an oval section with central pin constriction. The pin, which has been looped around this constriction, has been made from a flattened and tapering length of copper-alloy wire, the tip curved downwards to fit the shape of the frame. An incomplete copper-alloy single-loop buckle of medieval date. The frame is sub-oval in plan, having an offset, straight axis bar and wider pin rest with flat central area and two angled corner lobes. The plate has been folded around the axis bar and is missing its underside. The remains of a rivet hole are visible at the right-hand end of the sub-rectangular upper plate. The copper-alloy pin has been looped around the axis bar and sits within a slot in the plate. This pin has a D-shaped cross section and tapers to a point. No dimensions have been recorded for this buckle.

A Roman copper-alloy pin with discoidal head.The shaft is of circular cross section, tapers to a sharp point and is bent just above halfway down. Immediately below the head, two grooves have been incised, forming a collar.

A copper-alloy frame from a medieval single-loop buckle. The frame is broadly 'D' shaped, having outward-bowing top and bottom sides, and a vertical, offset and slightly wavy axis bar. The opposite side of the frame is occupied by a pin rest in which the central area, with transverse groove, is flanked by a pair of angled lobes, each with a ridge on its inner side. The pin is absent, but its former position and composition are indicated by an iron stain near the centre of the axis bar.
