An incomplete (broken) silver medieval cut half penny of Henry III (AD 1216-1272).London mint (1251-1272) most probably class 5b (1251-56) although due to the fragmentary nature and the fact the coin is struck off centre it is impossible to be confident.
Obverse: crown bust facing, no pellet / pommel on sceptre between X and III, hair formed of pellet and crescent, circular (annulet) eyes with centrak pellets.
Reverse: Voided long cross which divides the field and inscription; three pellets in each angles, legend [....] ON L/V [...] - ON is ligated
