Incomplete late early-medieval copper-alloy openwork strap end, measuring 37mm long, 26mm wide, 5.1mm thick and weighing 17.22g. The object has a rectangular form and cross-section and is in poor condition. The decorative part has a solid raised transverse line forming the border with the recessed attachment end, which projects above but is incomplete, retaining part of one circular hole. The object is circular in form and trapezoidal in cross section. It is in fair condition and largely complete. A Roman copper alloy brooch of Colchester derivative Polden Hill (flat wing ends type, Lower Severn Valley) type, c.f. Mackreth 2011, 2.b Plate 45. The brooch is T-shaped, the spring, pin and axis bar are missing. The fronts of the wings are decorated with three raised vertical ribs. The upper bow has a D shaped cross-section. A rib runs down the centre of the bow and becomes less pronounced towards the end.The end of the bow is broken off . Length 18mm, width 21mm, thickness 7mm, weight 3.31g. Early Medieval (Anglo-Scandinavian) copper alloy stirrup strap mount of Williams Class A, Type 10D. The object is 57mm long, 23mm wide and 6mm thick with a weight of 29.36grams. The mount is rectangular in form, with a rounded upper surface which terminates in a wide triangular apex, containing a central circular rivet hole filled with iron staining. A medieval copper alloy thimble, covered in circular indentations which are arranged in a spiral on the domed crown and run vertically down the sloping sides. They are irregular in diameter and the vertical rows converge in places. At the base of the object on the outer face is a circumferential groove, below which the object is undecorated. The rim is straight and unthickened. The object has a light green patina and is corroded in places. Length 19mm, diameter 18mm, weight 5.07g. Similar to LVPL-536BAF.
