Very worn long cross penny of Edward III (1327-1377), which has square cross type 1 as the initial mark, dating it to 1351-2. Fourth coinage. Obverse reads EDWA[RDUSREXAN]GLI. Reverse is hard to decipher, but MIE is just visible indicating it reads [CIVITAS DVNEL]MIE, i.e. Durham mint.
