A fragment of a copper alloy and iron folding knife or razor handle of probable later Roman date (3rd to 4th century). Part of an outer plate survives with the corroded remains of the blade attached to the other side via an in situ iron rivet that would have allowed it to pivot originally. The plate is sub-rectangular in form, with a rounded solid end and an openwork body, most of which appears to be missing.
