Post Medieval lead cloth seal. Formed from a large disk with a strip extending from one side and a smaller disk attached to one face thatdecorated with a crowned rose encircled with an illegible legend.The revervse is worn and doesn't appear to have any decoration. Egan (1992, 1) writes that 'county stamps with a ...rose crowned were probably current in the 1480s and 1490s'.
Length 37mm, thickness 4mm, weight 27g.
