Probably CLARITAS REI PVBLICAE reverse type depicting Sol standing left, raising right arm and holding globe in left. Uncertain mint. This coin is of a type which was mostly struck before AD 317, therefore is normally in Reece Period 15. However, as this is struck for Crispus, it is Reece Period 16.

A medieval (1275-1325) heraldic foot from a folding candle holder, formed from a single copper alloy plate in the shape of three shields placed end to end, the bottom shield extending into an elongated triangle (possibly zoomorphic) at the bottom. A D-shaped loop projects above the shield at the top. The top shield carries traces of now-red enamel but the design is lost; the central shield has traces of horizontal raised lines in the copper alloy; the bottom shield has three diagonal lines of now-blue enamel. A lead pot repair of probable Roman date (AD 43-410). Overall it measures 40.50mm x 32.75mm x 12.95mm and weighs 56.93g. It comprises of a worn potsherd from the side of a vessel and two sheets of lead of a similar size. The potsherd is 2.75mm thick and is curved. The lead sheet on the concave side is 2.25mm thick while the lead on the convex side varies from c.4mm to c.7mm thick. The potsherd comes from the body of a vessel made with a red fabric which has no visible inclusions and is therefore probably fine ware (hence the probable Roman date).

A fragment of a sandstone upper stone of a rotary quern likely to date to the Iron Age/Roman period (c.100 BC-AD 410). Roughly a quarter of the quernstone survives. The upper surface is uneven but broadly convex and rough to the touch (as is also the outside edge). The lower surface is very smooth to touch, concave and a pinkish colour. In shape the fragment is roughly triangular with a concave edge at the apex, part of the hole for the missing handle which would have turned the quern. It measures c.165mm x c.160mm x c.63mm.

An incomplete copper-alloy Post-Medieval (1600-1700) rowel spur, missing the rowel and three of the four attachments. It consists of a rowel box, a neck, two arms and an attached buckle-plate. One arm has been bent slightly out of shape. Overall it measures c.87.10mm in length, c.48.80mm in width and c.10.20mm in width. It weighs 26.67g. The rowel box is split in half to fit the rowel and has a perpendicular perforation through it for an iron rivet to hold the rowel in place (traces of the iron still remain).
