A fragment of medieval tile, made from clay with the remains of a lead plaque embeded into the surface. The edges are uneven, with a slight curved rim . On the curved rim there is evidence of glazing, the lead plaque has a faint design. Purpose unknown, but may have been used as a mould, or for decorative purposes.
