A cast lead alloy figurine dating to the post-medieval or modern period. The object is shaped to fit the image of a woman, who appears to be unclothed except for a necklace, sat cross legged; either smoking a long pipe or playing an instrument. Facial details can still be seen clearly and include two small dots for eyes, a large nose and a puckered mouth. The figure either wears a fitted headpiece or has short hair, two ears can also be seen. On the reverse of the weight the outline of the figure can still be seen but is smooth and has no detail. A modern watch winder made from a copper alloy. A circular swiveling link held in place by a copper alloy integral pivot. The body of the swivel strap distorbutor is D-shaped, the flat section forming hte base, where it curls inwards to form two knops. From between the knops the copper alloy has been snapped. Linear patterning, with a trace of gilding near the knops.

The following identification is kindly provided by Paul Cannon: A lead seal, probably a 'Johnnie Walker whisky bottle'. The seal has a full coat of arms, the same on both sides, decorated with a squirrel supporters on both sides of the shield. I believe that the arms are those of the town of Kilmarnock in Scotland: see for example http://www.kilmarnock.org.uk/kilmarnock.html. The crest, above the shield is also distinctive, consisting of a hand with the third and fourth fingers folded down. Even on the small scale of the lead seals the crest there can be identified as such a hand. …
