A complete cast lead alloy weight, probably medieval in date (c AD 1100-1500). The weight is circular in plan, and sub trapezoidal in profile, forming the shape of a squashed rounded pyramid with a flat base. A central perforation runs through the entire length of the weight. The width of the weight increases from the base (maximum) to the top (minimum width). The perforation hole has irregular edges and measures 8mm across at the base and 7mm at the top. The surface of the weight is rough and undecorated. The weight has a yellow to buff patina.

The width of the weight increases from the base (maximum) to the top (minimum width). A coil of copper alloy runs through the entire length of the weight; visible in the base of the weight and forming a snapped and twisted suspension loop at the top. The surface of the weight is rough and undecorated. The weight has a greyish yellow to buff patina.

Cast lead-alloy weight of unknown date. The weight is tear-shaped in plan, with a convex upper face and flat lower face. The weight narrows to a rounded tip at one end forming a tear-drop shape. At the wider end the lead overlaps on the lower face, forming an irregular and unintentional 'lipped' edge. On both faces there are cut marks to the surface of the weight. There is no sign of a suspension loop for the weight. The object has a damaged surface with a light grey to beige patina. The date of the object is unknown but it is likely to be medieval to post medieval. See record HES…

A tear dropped shaped lead weight, late medieval or post medieval in date (c. AD1400-1700). The reverse of the weight is flat, but the front is domed. The weight is undecorated, but both ends are well rounded. The weight is complete and has a perforated suspension hole through the top where it thins to a tip. The lead is a light whitish-grey colour. These weights are not yet completely understood. It is similar to find SUSS-2F80E5.

An incomplete lead suspension fishing weight, probably dating to the medieval to post-medieval period (c AD1200-1700). The weight is elongated, narrowing to a point at the bottom. The loop end of the weight is broken off. The weight has a flat back and a curving front. The entire length of the weight consists of a linear cross hatching grooved pattern. The surface is whitish-grey in colour. This weight was probably used for 'plumming' lines in construction or as a fishing or bird net weight. Similar parallels exist on the database, see: YORYM-622B81.
