A Medieval copper alloy key from the 14th century. It has corroded to a brown-grey patina. The key has a stem of oval cross section, the bow is 30.52 mm wide and circular. Just underneath the bow the key thickens and then thins out right down to the end of the key. At the shank it is 9.3 mm thick.
It is 100.41mm long, 30.52 mm wide, 9.3mm thick and it weighs 40.7 grams.

An incomplete double looped buckle frame, dating to the Post Medieval period.There is a protruding lobed knop at the centre of the outer edge of the extant elongated D-shaped loop. There is also a moulded knop at each end of the pin bar. The knop on the outer edge is grooved to act as a pin rest. The pin is cast, simply looped round to attach it and tapers to a point at the other end. The frame is D- shaped, with the middle protruding to a point. The surface is corroded and has a brown and grey patina. A similar example can be found illustrated in Whitehead (1996, 62; ref 373) though …
