A fragment of a cast copper alloy spear probably dating to the Middle or Late Bronze Age (c. 1500-800 BC). The fragment consists of the tip of the spear blade, which is triangular in plan. The tip is slender with a pronounced middle rib which tapers to the edges in 'wings', creating a rounded lozenge-shaped cross section. The shaft opening is circular in shape on the underside and is completely filled with soil and other possible material. A complete cast lead alloy Medieval seal matrix pendant, probably dating to c. 14th c AD. The seal is oval in shape and flat, with a long suspension loop at the top with a hole running parallel to the face of the seal. The seal is too worn to read the legend around the perimeter, however the central design features a crescent surmounted by a 7-point star. Each of the points of the star is curved. A Post-Medieval cast copper alloy knife end-cap in the form of two conjoined and symmetrical stylised horse's hooves, c. 1500-1600 AD. Each half of the pommel is sub-oval in cross-section and curves throughout its length. Each shoe has a horizontal groove on the face, and is delineated by a transverse groove at either side. At the base a rectangular slot is filled with the remains of a corroded iron tang. It measures 10.46 mm long, 17.77 mm wide, 5.81 mm thick and weighs 3.4 grams. A cast copper alloy Post Medieval combination lock dating from 1550 to 1650. The lock has a cylindrical case. The cylindrical case is made up five discs originally movable but now corroded onto an axle, between two outer discs. The two outer discs were attached to an arched hasp or shackle which is D-shaped in section and is 15.15 mm high. One of the outer discs and a portion of this hasp are missing. A corroded and incomplete Post Medieval cast copper alloy saddle pommel. Only the majority of one half survives, from a break running down a central moulded ridge. The pommel half would have originally been a hollow semi-circle in section with one end closed and the other open. At the closed segment one side of the hemisphere is missing due to old damage. An incompletecopper-alloy signet finger ring, dating from the Late Medieval period. The flat bezel bears a crudely incised letter of indeterminate form; this is surrounded by a sub-oval line border. The bezel extens smoothly into the shoulders, which taper into the remaining portion (approximately half) of the D-sectioned hoop. The metal of the ring is of an even dark green patina. The ring measures 21.7 in approximate diameter, with a 13.42 mm width bezel and a 9.9 mm x 8.16 mm oval decoration; the hoop is 2.49 mm thick and the ring weighs 3.15 grams.
