A Medieval gilded copper alloy harness pendant, probably dating to c. AD 1200-1400. The pendant is shield shaped, with a square top tapering to a point at the base with slightly convex sides. A transverse attachment loop projects from the centre of the top. The pendant is gilded and inlaid with enamel, which survives in situ, depicting a leopard passant left, in red enamel with white spots aling its flank. Length: 44mm width: 25mm weight: 11.5 g. A complete Early medieval copper alloy strap end, of Thomas' Class E, type 1, probably dating to c. AD 1000-1100. The strap end is tongue shaped in plan, decorated with a symetrical openwork Winchester-style plant-scroll consisting of a central longitudinal stem bifurcating into four scrolling fronds. Medieval copper alloy single loop 'D' shaped buckle, dated to between c1250 and c1400 AD. The buckle is complete with pin and single folded plate. The inner plate is smaller than the integral outer plate, and they were originally intended to be held together by three rivets although five rivet holes are visible in the outer plate. The rivet hole nearest the strap bar was never drilled through the inner plate, so consequently never used. A complete copper alloy crotal bell of post medieval date (AD 1500-1850). The object is of a single cast form with the two hemispheres divided by a slightly raised horizontal circumferential rib. A sound hole is placed on each side of the integral rectangular suspension loop with a sub-circular perforation, which is in the centre of the upper hemisphere. There is an incised decorative pattern consisting of repeating semi-circles, creating a 'sunburst' pattern. On the lower hemisphere there is a sound hole on each side, close to the joining rib. A late Iron Age cast bronze 'Horn Cap'. These enigmatic objects were once thought to be chariot decorations but more recent thinking has proposed them as the heads from ceremonial maces or sceptres. What is certain is that they are extremely rare. Only around twenty examples are known to exist, and none have been found outside Britain. A similar Horn Cap was discovered at Llyn Cerrig Bach on the island of Anglesey, famous sanctuary of the Druids.
