A complete silver hammered penny of Edward I (1272-1307). The coin is a Class 4a and dates 1282-1383. North no 1023. The mint is London. Obverse shows a forward facing crowned bust. Obverse legend reads EDW R ANGL DNS HYB. The reverse shows a solid long cross with three pellets in each quadrant. Reverse legend reads CIVI/TAS/LON/DON. Diameter: 18.33mm. Thickness: 0.66mm. Weight: 1.2g. Die axis: 1 o'clock.

A complete cast copper alloy archer's finger ring dating to the Medieval period, circa AD 1300-1500. The finger ring is broadly formed from a circular hoop with a sub triangular form projecting from one edge. The projection leans back at an angle. The outside of the finger ring is decorated with incised linear and geometric shapes. A copper-alloy object made from cut metal, probably a Medieval balance pan, circa AD1200-1500. An alternative identification has been put forward suggesting it is a possible decorative spangle of Anglo-Saxon date . The object is incomplete but was originally sub-triangular in shape. An incomplete cast lead alloy personal, flat-backed seal matrix dating to the Medieval Period, circa AD1200-1300. The seal matrix would have originally been sub-oval in plan. A ragged break is now present to one side of the seal matrix. The break is not new. The upper face of the seal matrix is undecorated. An integrally cast lug is present near the perimeter of the matrix which is set on a moulded central rib on the longitudinal axis of the reverse. A copper alloy impersonal Medieval seal matrix dating from circa AD 1300-1400. This is a pyramid type matrix with a circular base and hexagonal sectioned stem. The engraved die has a central device of two busts facing each other in profile. The faces are divided by a long-stemmed plant which emanates from a heart-shaped form at the bottom of the device and terminates in a four-leaf flower above the busts. The ring is a even band with a sub rectangular section. The remains of a floral moulded decoration survives on the outside of the ring, but it is indiscernible due to wear. A fragment of a cast copper alloy (bronze) axe most probably from a palstave of Middle Bronze Age date, circa 1500-1150 BC. The blade is broken below the stop ridge and there is no evidence to suggest whether this fragment is from a looped - or unlooped palstave variant. The break is worn and patinated suggesting that it has been damaged in antiquity; only the lower blade of the axehead survives. A casting error is present on one flange. The reverse is worn with surface pitting. A raised curvilinear form indicates that the reverse was originally decorated. The token has a light brown / yellow colour with an uneven surface patina.
