A complete struck copper alloy As of Nero (AD 54-68). Coin dates to circa 65AD (Reece Period 3). The reverse shows a winged Victory walking left holding a shield. The shield would have shown the letters SPQR, but this has been lost due to wear. The reverse has the letters SC included in the field. The obverse shows a laureate bust facing right. The obverse legend reads NERO CAESAR AVG GERM IMP.
Diameter: 26.52mm. Thickness: 2.52mm. Weight: 8.6g. Die axis: 6 o' clock.
