A complete copper alloy radiate belonging to Carausius dating from AD286-293 (Reece Period 14). The coin appears to be over-struck with a barbarous copy of Postumus. This is very unusual if the case. It would be useful to handle the coin for further inspection. Obverse: IMP CARAVSIVS P F AVG; Radiate, draped (and cuirassed) right; reverse type possibly struck on top Reverse: (H?)ILCII(P rev?); Radiate, draped (and cuirassed?) bust right (of Postumus?); traces of undertype?
