An incomplete copper alloy gem set finger ring of Roman date. The hoop no longer survives but the remaining portions expand and swell to a bezel. The bezel is chunky and set with an oval, red gem. The gem is worn, chipped around the edges and a fragment is missing. The cavity in which it rests is hollow under the gem. The metal is decorated with moulding. There is a groove forming a border round the gem, and the sides of the bezel has semi-circular depressions with a ridge round them. There are two depressions on each side of the gem. A sherd of a broken Medieval ceramic vessel with a lead pot mend embedded in it. The object is sub triangular in shape; the fabric is fine and is light grey in colour; the edges are water worn and rounded. There is a blob of lead half embedded at the wider end of the object; presumably used to plug a hole in the pot. A cast Post-Medieval copper alloy Charles I (1625-1649) coin weight. The front of this coin weight has a crowned profile of Charles I facing left; the legend reads: CAROLVS REX. The back of the weight has a crown above an '•X•' and an '•S•' below, standing for ten shillings. The weight has a dark green patina. A similar weight may be found on the database at PAS record ID: SF-F1CEB7. See also page 14 of Lions, Ships and Angels. At 4.14g, this weight has less mass than it should, but this probably owing to wear. Thickness: 2.6mm; Diameter: 17mm; Weight: 4.14g

A cast lead alloy weight with a probable Medieval or Post-Medieval date. The weight is sub circular and discoidal, measuring 30.9mm in diameter and is 7.3mm thick and weighs 11.58g (1.57oz). One face has a larger concave dip than the other making the rim more prominent; the original design is no longer distinguishable due to wear and damage; the opposite face has what appears to be four counter-relief stamped dots. The weight has a shiny creamy medium brown patina.

There is a single surviving rivet, demarcated by a stub on the back. The edges are complete except for part of one long edge nearest to the rivet. The reverse is flat and undecorated and has minor wear. There are traces of silvering on the upper face and the sides. The mount has a medium green patina. An incomplete single loop, sub-rectangular Post-Medieval buckle with a lipped frame, dating from about 1500-1650. It has a rounded and notched front with a single ovoid knop and two engraved curvilinear lines. The front of the buckle appears to have been silvered and the reverse is undecorated. The bow is decorated with an sub square button (rather than the usual acanthus button) on the front of the bow. A cast copper alloy harness mount, probably of medieval date AD1200-1400. It is rectangular and has a large, integral fastening spike on the reverse, the point of which has broken off and is missing. The front of the mount is decorated with five broad, shallow grooves, all of which taper to a point at each end and retain much of their gilding. The remainder of the mount displays a rough greenish-grey patina. It is 28.2mm long, 22mm wide and 20.1mm thick (including the spike). It weighs 11.03gm. Similar examples include NMS-D1DFE6, BH-AB2184 and SWYOR-C63331.
