A medieval finger-ring, the wire hoop slightly distorted, with an irregular semicircular bezel containing a dark red stone (probably a garnet). The ring is gold and dates from the late twelfth or the thirteenth century. Consequently, in terms of age and as the object contains a minimum of 10% precious metal it qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996.

Description: A post-medieval silver-gilt ball headed pin, dating to the 16th century AD. Only the lower hemisphere of the pin head remains with a small length of rod. The decoration on the lower hemisphere would have consisted of three filigree wire circles with a further four or five filigree wire circles within this and one central knop. As the lower hemisphere is damaged this decoration is now incomplete. An incomplete and corroded copper-alloy spur of post medieval date. The spur has a short, sharply down-turned neck with collar, and is missing one side, both terminals and the rowel. The incomplete spur is decorated with two engraved lines along either side, with a diagonal ladder towards the heel. This artefact has a broadly mid-green patina.

PACI AVGVSTAE reverse type depicting Pax-Nemesis advancing right holding caduceus over snake, drawing drapery from beneath chin. Prototype of the mint of Rome. cf. RIC I (2nd ed.), p. 122, no. 10 for the reverse type. This coin has corroded extensively on both faces, with a loss of the silver plating and legend on the obverse.

This artefact is formed of a hemispherical in section band which has been formed from one piece of copper-alloy and soldered to form a complete loop, with the soldered join still visible. On the internal surface of the band are a series of forms that might be replicating letters. These appear to read: 'I L I N'. An incomplete and corroded cast copper-alloy steelyard weight with lead filling, probably dating from the Roman period. The weight is broadly piriform, with an integral suspension loop pierced by a circular aperture. At the base of the suspension loop are two ridges formed by two circumferential grooves. The body of the weight is undecorated but pitted and uneven from corrosion, which has resulted in areas of loss.
