A Late Iron Age/ Early Roman body sherd and rim sherd. Both fragments are fully oxidised and appear an orange colour to the exterior surface, with a darker orange to the interior. The fabric of both sherds is sandy and includes small particles of mica and displays some small circular voids, possibly from organic matter, as well as very large irregular flint temper. This flint temper appears unsorted and large fragments protrude from both surfaces and in the section. The rim sherd has a beaded rim and is from a large storage jar. It measures 59.6mm in length, with a width of 46.4mm. …

A worn and corroded lead-alloy token of probable Medieval to Post Medieval date (c. AD 1250-1800). It is decorated on one side with a six petalled flower, (Powell type 1) whilst the other depicts the initials '·T·C·' with a further pellet above (Powell type 2). The token has a very thin body with a light grey-white patina. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally. They are therefore hard to date precisely and examples with simple designs could be Medieval to late Post Medieval in date (c. AD 1250-1800)
