A plated copper-alloy Roman radiate, probably a barbarous copy of a coin of Postumus (AD 260-269) dating to the period AD 275-285 (Reece period 14). Obverse: [IMP] C POSTVMVS [P F AVG], Radiate and draped bust right. Reverse: [HER]CVLI DE-VSONIENSI, Hercules standing right leaning on club, holding bow and lion's skin. The reverse legend appears to read HERCVLI rather than the usual HERC (cf. RIC V.2 p. 342, no. 64; Cunetio no. 2383), but the coin appears to be plated and likely to be a contemporary copy.

A copper alloy Q-Radiate of Allectus (AD 293-6) (Reece Period 14), LAETITIA AVG, Galley right with mast, no cabin, and five rowers; no waves. C Mint, QC. RIC V, pt 2, p. 569, no. 125. The coin is 21.41mm diameter and 1.79mm at its thickest point and 1.33mm at its thinest point weight being 2.60g. The coin is in very good condition. This coin is included in Sam Moorhead's corpus for RIC.
