A group of three retouched flakes of probable Neolithic date. The largest is formed on amber coloured flint with cortex at the distal end. The left edge has small areas of fine retouch. The flint is 37.38mm long, 20.40mm wide and 6.5mm thick. 6.21g. The next flake is mottled yellow grey with spots of cortex on all faces. There is fine retouch on the ventral face of the left side. 24.2mm long, 14.98mm wide and 6.03mm thick. 2.03g. The smallest is a flake of patinated flint. The distal end is retouched. 13.19mm long, 21.95mm wide and 4.26mm thick. 0.64g.

There is a cortex inclusion at the proximal end. 46.31mm long, 18.45mm wide and 8.03mm thick. 4.9g. The smaller is formed on a rounded patinated flake. The distal end is shaped into the burin point and there is fine retouch on the left side. The right side has cortex surviving. 23.06mm long, 13.45mm wide and 4.61mm thick. 1.09g.

A silver Post Medieval coin; a groat of Henry VIII (1509 - 1547), second coinage (1526 - 1544), lis (2) initial mark (1529 - 1532). The mint is illegible, as is most of the coin. A copper alloy Roman headstud brooch dating from AD 75 - 200. The integral head loop is broken. The rectangular wings are deeply grooved on the front, and behind they hid a tubular housing for the copper alloy axis bar. This supports the hinged copper alloy pin which is also almost intact. A cast copper alloy palm guard, probably of Post Medieval date. It is a shallow circular dish with three regularly spaced lugs projecting from the outer edge, each with a copper alloy rivet and large circular rove remaining, by which the guard could have been attached to a piece of leather. The back is plain and convex. The front has a raised rim and in concave. The base of the dish has a grid pattern of raised lines which are somewhat worn. A cast copper-alloy single loop buckle with a decorative plate. It has a D shaped frame with an expanded outer ednge and a knop at each end of the bar. A Medieval lead alloy shield shaped trade weight dating from AD 1400 - 1700. The weight has been cast in lead alloy. The front is decorated with a single fleur de lis design in relief on a raised shield shaped area. There is no design on the reverse but there are the remains of two small iron lugs.
