A cast lead alloy probable spindle whorl, of probable Early Medieval date. It is conical in shape and has a circular, central perforation with a diameter of 6.8mm. It is undecorated, but there are some deep gouges across the walls. The base is slightly hollow. The whorl has a white patina. This shape can be classified as Coppergate type A1 which was used from the 6th century onwards. All the balls have a flat area where the casting sprue has been trimmed or partially trimmed. 9 are of 17mm diameter, ranging in weight from 23.2g to 28.1g. 3 are of 16mm diameter, raging in mass from 20.8g to 24.1g. A copper alloy strip, bent into a hook shape but not intentionally. Its date and function are unknown, but the quality of the metal suggests a Post Medieval date. One end flares and seems complete. Along the centre of each face is a faint line, perhaps where another element was soldered. The other end is broken in an L shaped section, perhaps suggesting construction in two layers.

An Early Medieval incomplete cast copper alloy strap end of the 'Winchester' style, dating from the 10th or 11th centuries. It can be classified as Thomas' Class E, Type 1. The strap end is of a long, narrow tongue shape. It has a series of holes and bands running down its length, giving an openwork pattern probably representing a plant design, now quite debased. The hole is filled with mud and is tapers from about 5mm at the base to 3mm at the top. The object is devoid of any pattern or decoration. It is 17.85mm in length, 13.85mm in width. 12.91 in thickness and weighs 28.32grams. The weight is nearly 1oz in imperial weight.

A Medieval Spindle Whorl cast from lead alloy. The spindle whorl is in good condition and is void of any pattern or decoration. It is discoidal with a rounded upper face and slightly rounded walls. The central aperture is filled with mud but has a diameter of about 9.45mm. The underside is slightly hollow. The Spindle Whorl is 14.28mm in thickness, 26.05mm in diameter and weighs 55.07grams.

A Post Medieval Buckle cast from copper alloy. It is double looped with sub rectangular loops. The ends of the frame are rounded and the sides are scalloped. The pin and plate are missing. Compare number 443 on page 71 of Whitehead's Buckles. This suggests a date of 1600 - 1720.

A incomplete copper-alloy strap end of Medieval date (about AD 1150-1450). The strap end is a composite type with a probable sheet spacer and separate strips for side walls. The strap end is tongue shaped in plan, with a knop at the closed end and a scalloped open end. A single copper alloy rivet survives in the centre of the open end. A Post Medieval (probably 1575-1700) asymmetrical doubled looped buckle cast in copper alloy. The buckle is bevelled on the front face with a narrow strap bar in the middle. One loop is rounded and the other loop is squared at the end. There is evidence of where the buckle has been tinned; there is no other decoration present. The buckle is 25.74mm in length, 17.50mm in width, 2.3mm in thickness and weighs 2.62grams. Compare Page 90, Ref.No.561 in Buckles 1250-1800 by Ross Whitehead Published by Greenlight Publishing.

A complete cast copper alloy hooked tag of Post-Medieval date, about 1500-1600. The dress hook has a rectangular attachment loop at one end which is embellished with a rose at each side. The main design is an openwork rope-work design of three lobes in a trefoil shape. There is a thick area at the top of the hook, which is almost complete with just the tip missing. Compare SWYOR-39B211. See also Read 2008 Class E type 5 plates 436-9.

A Post Medieval Doubled Looped Asymmetrical buckle made of cast copper alloy. It has six lobes on the outside edge of the rectangular loop. There are also lobed knops at two symmetrical points on the outer edge of the rounded loop and a lobed protrusion at either end of the strap bar. Two Post Medieval, probably 17th Century lead alloy (Tombac) pimple buttons. They are circular with a domed front and a central flattened point resembling a pimple. On the reverse sides there are remains of a loop on each button. One button measures 13mm in diameter, 4.99mm in thickness and weighs 2grams, and the other is 13.25mm in diameter, 6.69mm in thickness and weighs 3 grams.
