A fragment of a Medieval silver coin; a Tealby penny of Henry II (1154 - 1189), dating from AD 1158 - 1180. The fragment is too small to be able to identify the Bust type, and little of the legend is visible. The only letters visible are probably "ARD" which could suggest the moneyers Tancard, Ricard or Acard, or the mint Cardu (Carlisle). See North numbers 952 - 961.
