A Roman radiate coin of Claudius II, struck after his death. The base silver coin dates to Reece period 13 (AD 260-75). It has a diameter of 17.92mm, a thickness of 1.49mm and a weight of 1.93 grams. The reverse shows CONSEC[RATIO] with the eagle, symbolizing the emperors ascent to the gods. The coin is in fair condition, the details are relatively legible but there is a red/brown patina with a few areas of chalky green deterioration.
