An incomplete copper-alloy object, likely to be a mount, of medieval date. It is of unusual form with a square, domed section and an integral loop, much of which is missing due to old breaks. The square section has a raised, square central portion with iron staining. There is an incised line which divides it from the remnants of the loop. On the reverse is an integral spike of rectangular section. The precise purpose is uncertain but it may be a bar mount with integral loop. If this were the case then it would likely be of thirteenth- to fifteenth-century date. No parallels have been …

An incomplete copper-alloy mount of medieval date. Mount is formed of plate which was originally sub-rectangular in plan with one vertical edge slight convex and the other slightly concave, mirroring one another. It was attached with two circular rivets one of which is still present. Two corners have been broken off. The style is very functional and it is undecorated meaning that it could date to most points between the thirteenth and fifteenth centuries. It measures 15.87mm in length, 10.24mm in width, 3.87mm in thickness (including the rivet) and weighs 0.55g.

Fragment of a copper-alloy applique or mount. The object is curved, presumably mirroring the original shape of the original object. There is a flat upper surface with the object curving down each side beyond this. The applique was fixed to the object with rivets, one of which is intact. At both end it has been broken. There is crude linear rocker decoration on the upper surface. There are a series of triangles and rectangles between two lines which parallel the curved edge of the object. Of probable Late Medieival to Post Medieval date. 37.38 x 20.77 x 0.57mm; 2.31g.
