A fragment of a copper alloy jetton dating from the Post Medieval period, about AD 1660-1760: probably manufactured by the later Nuremberg masters, and of an English style. Obverse legend [---]MAG.BR.F[R---]. This obverse legend would correspond with several of the types issued by the later Lauffer workshop (for example Mitchiner 1779); however, the extant reverse legend [---]EGNA[---] does not appear to correspond with the common legends on these issues. The fragment is 19.7mm long, 13.4mm wide and 0.3mm thick. It weighs 0.6g.

The jetton has been perforated near the edge with a large oval hole (3.3mm long by 2.7mm wide), possibly for suspension or to be worn. The flan is very thin and has two small holes…
