An incomplete post-medieval silver three pence of Elizabeth I (1558-1603), Second issue. The date above the reverse shield is only partially visible due to wear and appears as 15?2, with a sword initial mark it dates to the year 1582. Mint of London. The coin is very worn on both obverse and reverse and is clipped from the 12 o'clock to the 6 o'clock position when viewing the obverse. Diameter - 18.41mm. Tickness - 0.36mm. Weight - 1.26g North Vol 2, 1991, page 135, number 1998.

An incomplete silver voided short cross penny. Possibly John (c.1199-1216) or Henry III (c.1216-1272), class 6 (c.1210-1217) due to the style of the bust/beard.The coin has been broken (though not a clean break) in antiquity diagonally across the bust from the 10 o'clock to the 5 o'clock position. There is evidence of the coin being holed along the break at the 10 o'clock position and 3.78mm in from the edge, the hole is 1.33mm wide and 1.74mm in length and is straight sided. Probably Henry III (c.1216-1272), class 7 (c.1217-1272) due to the style of the bust.The coin is very worn on both obverse and reverse and only partial letters of the legends remain. A complete silver penny of Edward II (AD1307-27), Durham ecclesiastical mint under Bishop Richard De Kellawe (Bishop of Durham 1311-16), class 11b (c.1312-14). Silver long-cross penny of Edward I (1272-1307), Canterbury mint, Class 10ab2, c.1301-2. Plain cross as the initail mark, crown as class 9b converted to bifoliate, the letter W is formed from two overlapping letter V's. The coin is full in flan with no cracks, the bust is worn and scratched, the obverse legend is clear. A post-Medieval silver coin: a three halfpence of Elizabeth I (1558- 1603), second issue, dated 1561, Pheon initial mark. It is 16.8mm in diameter and 0.5mm thick. It weighs 0.72gm. See North, volume 2, page 135, number 2000. The coin is slightly double struck on the obverse to the left hand side. There is a slight amount of wear to the obverse and reverse and it is slightly clipped and bent in places. Compare similar examples PAS record ID: SWYOR-375F36, SWYOR-5DAC32.

A medieval silver penny of Edward I or II, class 10cf3b2var (North 1042/2), minted at London, 1307-1309. The obverse inscription includes an open E (in EDWAR) known as an unusual variant in 10cf3b2, along with a large G and the letter R, N and L all exhibiting wide, straight sides (see Wood 1989, 51 for details).
