A copper alloy pin head probably dating to the 8th century. The object is sub-circular in plan and flat with an irregular edge.There is a possible hole through the middle which is visible on both sides of the object however it is now corroded over. The back of the object is undecorated and irregular with some areas of active corrosion. The front of the object is decorated and gilded. Around the circular hole there is a circular incised border. A complete silver penny of Edward II dating to AD 1309 with silver casting waste attached to the reverse. The coin is a complete silver penny with the obverse legend reading EDWA R ANGL DNS HYB. The obverse depicts a forward facing bust. North Number 1042/3. Uncertain mint. The coin has a diameter of 17.62 mm. The casting waste is attached to the reverse of the coin and is irregular and globular with a recess in the back.

An unfinished copper alloy pointed-oval seal matrix dating to the medieval period, c. AD 1200 to 1300. An incomplete gilded silver iconographic finger ring dating to the medieval period, c. AD 1400 to 1500. The object has a sub-rectangular bezel with two faces and a triangular section. Each face of the bezel has an inscribed motif which appears to be a crude representation of two figures, probably saints. A complete gold finger ring dating to the 16th-18th Century. The ring is circular in plan, complete, and has a D-shaped cross section. The decoration of the band consists of an applied gold hand which is itself incised with decorative patterns. A mourning ring commemorating Sir John Marlay who died in 1673 and was mayor of Newcastle three times in the 17th century. The ring is circular, complete, and has a D-shaped cross-section. Approximately 25% of the outside face of the ring is decorated; the central motif is a crude, incised skull.
