An incomplete copper alloy small-long brooch dating to the early medieval period, c. AD 400 to 550. The head of the brooch is missing however the bow is present and sub-triangular in cross-section which creates a faceted front to the bow. The brooch then bends at almost 90 degrees to create a P-shape. This vertical section is more rounded than the bow which creates a D-shaped section. From the back of this section extends the catchplate with an incised line marking the different parts of the brooch. A copper alloy Nauheim-derivative of La Tène III brooch dating to the Iron Age, c. 100 BC to AD 100. The object has an integral head which is mainly comprised of the spring mechanism created by winding the metal. The metal has broken so the pin is not present. From the head, the brooch widens and extends to the bow which is undecorated. The bow then tapers to point, behind which the catchplate extends. A copper alloy small-long brooch of early medieval date, c. AD 450 to 550. The object has a sub-rectangular head with small circles missing from the corners to create a cross shape. There are incised lines along the straight sides of the rectangular head and no other decoration. A copper alloy chape, late medieval to early post medieval in date, c. AD 1450 to 1600. The object is sub-triangular in plan with a slightly rounded side and a damaged side which meet at a point with a knop. There is a raised line down the centre of the object with two openwork apertures, a round hole above a rectangular one and it is likely that this would have been repeated on the other side which is missing. Similar, more complete examples are recorded on the PAS database, see NARC-854A93 and CAM-2D9EB4.

A complete gold finger ring dating to the 16th-18th Century. The ring is circular in plan, complete, and has a D-shaped cross section. The decoration of the band consists of an applied gold hand which is itself incised with decorative patterns. A mourning ring commemorating Sir John Marlay who died in 1673 and was mayor of Newcastle three times in the 17th century. The ring is circular, complete, and has a D-shaped cross-section. Approximately 25% of the outside face of the ring is decorated; the central motif is a crude, incised skull. An incomplete copper alloy key of Roman date (AD 43-200). The object is a tumbler-lock slide key with an integral circular loop at the apex, the shoulder is double stepped between the loop and the rectangular-sectioned grip which narrows to form the base of the bit. The bit is incomplete due to an old break and projects at a right angle from the shaft and the retained form is rectangular.
