A largely complete Roman copper alloy mount in the form of a recumbent bull, dating to the period c. AD 43-410. The head is wedge-shaped and delineated from the body by a curved groove from under the ear leading to the nose, where the groove straightens into a mouth and then continues to curve past the other side of the head. A complete Post Medieval copper alloy finger ring dating to c. AD 1600-1900.  It is in the form of a belt with a circular buckle and pin standing proud of the finger ring itself. There is some very fine decoration around the buckle and ring in the form of transverse lines and also perhaps, foliage. Traces of a white metal coating are in evidence. The diameter is 21.9mm, the height 5.1mm, thickness 1.3mm and weight 2.62g. See  DENO-2956AB on the PAS database for similar.

A complete Post Medieval to Modern copper alloy cruciform mount dating to c. AD 1800-1910.  The mount is of cross-crosslet form, with openwork squares between the cross arms. It has been pressed from thin sheet metal and the edges of the mount are turned over from the upper surface to the lower.  On the reverse is the still extant rivet. The patina is an overall mid brown. A complete Post Medieval circular cast lead head of a lion probably dating to c. AD 1650-1800. The lion has deep set eyes, the  face is in high relief, although the nose is flattened. The head is surrounded by the mane.  On the reverse are four iron mounts now squashed at  3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock with significant iron staining. The back of the object is rounded suggesting that it was cast in an open mould. An incomplete Medieval to post Medieval double looped buckle frame c.1350-1650.  Cassels, 2013, Type 1.4C. The pin is missing. Both loops are oval in plan and are a similar size.  The frame is convex at the front and flat at the rear.  At the front both outer edges have transverse grooves as decoration.  The central narrowed bar is D-shaped in cross section and flat at the rear. The buckle has a green patina. The buckle is 39.2mm in length, 3.4mm thickness, 32.0mm in height and weighs 9.59 grams. See IOW-6A2A11 on the PAS database for a similar example.

A complete white glass bead of unknown date, Iron Age to Modern, c. 400 BC - AD 1900.  The object is circular in plan. There are cracks on the outer face, but there is no visible mould line, nor any sign of a spiral internal structure. Such beads have been in use throughout history and are therefore very difficult to date when discovered as chance finds. They were used extensively on lace making bobbins in the 19th century. The bead is circular with a roughly central perforation.  It is a light turquoise in colour, with a small abrasion on one side and the bead is cracked in places. There is no visible mould line, nor any sign of a spiral internal structure.
