A complete lead weight of unknown date, Roman to Post Medieval, c. AD 43-1800. The weight is square with a slightly domed top and is well made. It is mainly creamy white in colour with flecks of grey and pale brown. There are no discernible markings. There is a hole which goes from to bottom (diameter 5mm). The weight is 85.06 grams. The height is 24.3mm, and 23.0mm maximum width.

A complete lead standing weight of unknown date, Roman to Post Medieval, c. AD 43-1800. It is very crudely cast, being approximately conical with a large hole running from top to an increasing diameter at its base. Measurements: weight 75.6 grams, height 24.9mm, diameter of base (max) 27.9mm Weights of this type are ubiquitous and very difficult to date from undated contexts and were used from the Roman period through to the Post Medieval period where they had various functions such as fishing or trade weights.

A complete Roman to post-medieval cylindrical lead weight, dating to the period AD 43-1700. The base is round in plan, and the weight has an integral loop at the apex. There are numerous scratches and indentations but these are probably meaningless. In total, the weight has an off white colour, rough patina, with some darker inclusions, and measures 28.8mm in height, 16.7mm in diameter and weighs 45.41 grams.

A cast copper alloy stacking trade weight of probable post medieval date, (AD1714-1818). The weight is circular with a raised rim. Inside the rim is a stamped mark comprising a circle within which is a crowned GR. Outside the circle is stamped what could represent stylised fabric. The reverse is flat but somewhat scratched. The weight is 18.58mm in diameter and 4.44mm thick. It weighs 2.35 oz (6.66 grams).

The weight is circular in plan amd decorated with a wheel shape pattern comprising a groove round the outer edge with six equal triangles within it, there is a small central circular ridge. The reverse is undecorated . The patina is a light whitish brown. The weight is 37.83mm in diameter, the thickness is 10.57mm and the weight is 80.79 grams.

A cast solid copper alloy Byzantine three ounce weight of Roman date. The object is spherical with a flattened top and bottom. The sides of the sphere appear to have been hammered. On one of these flat ends, is an decoated on the top face with a gamma and an I widely spaced. The gamma and the I are inlaid with a white material, part of which is lost. The diameter is 25.11mm. The object weighs 73.82 grams. A similar example can be seen in Bendall 1996 p. 25.
