Reverse seems to depicts a simple rosette with cross (unclear) over; legend illegible.

An incomplete and corroded Post Medieval copper alloy Royal farthing token of Charles I (1625-1649 AD). Approximately 20% of the flan is missing as a result of old damage. The initial mark is most probably a fleece and the coin dates from 1625-1634 AD. The obverse is a single arched crown with sceptres in saltire, and the legend CARO D [G MAG BRIT]. The reverse shows a crowned harp with the legend [FRA ET] HIB REX. The coin is a type 1(c); North, English Hammered Coinage Vol 2 (1991) p164; No. 2277

Two worn and corroded Post Medieval copper alloy rose farthings of Charles 1st (1625-1649 AD). The obverses have a single arched crown with two sceptres in saltire through it. The legend is difficult to discern but would read CAROLU(S) D G MA(G) BRI. The reverses show a single rose surmounted by a single arched crown with the legend FRA ET HI(B) REX. The coins are type 2 and can be dated to 1636-1644 AD. North; English Hammered Coinage Vol 2 (1975); p140; No. 2291.
