A copper alloy object, probably a coiled finger ring of late Iron Age, Roman, or Early Medieval date. The object is sub circular in plan and rectangular in section. The end sections of the metal cross over and terminate in rounded ends. The object weighs 2.4g and measures 20.70mm in diameter. The metal is green in colour and well preserved. See Crummy (1983) p. 48 no. 1758-1759 for similar examples that are dated between 60-150 AD. Most of the hoop has been broken, leaving narrow shoulders either side that taper towards the break. The bezel is oval in shape. The metal is dark brown in colour and the object weighs 1.2g, measuring 14.24mm in length and 6.19mm in width.

A fragment from a copper alloy Roman bow brooch of Langton Down type dating to the 1st century AD. The spring case including part of the coiled spring and the upper portion of the bow survive intact, but the remainder of the brooch is missing due to old breaks. The spring case is cylindrical in shape and is missing some of its extremities due to post-depositional damage. It is decorated on the top and at each end with incised double parallel lines. An incomplete copper alloy Finger Ring dating to the 2nd/3rd centuries AD of the Roman period. The finger ring is an example of the Henig Type XII. Most of the hoop has been broken, leaving narrow shoulders either side. The bezel is oval in shape and is decorated with a raised intaglio made from copper alloy that may have been decorated but is now very worn. The metal is dark green/brown in colour and the object weighs 2.1g, measuring 16.80mm in length and 10.11mm in width.

An incomplete copper alloy bell of Roman date. The bell is triangular in plan with a rectangular suspension loop projecting from the apex. The interior of the bell is undecorated and the clapper no longer remains. The bell has a large fracture which extends most of its length on one side. The metal is a mid blackish-brown colour with some mottled green areas and is worn. The bell is 29.16mm in height, 35.74mm in diameter and weighs 19.1g. A complete Post Medieval cast copper alloy spherical animal 'crotal' bell dating to AD 1600-1800. The object is spherical and consists of two halves joined by a raised band running around the circumference of the object. The upper half has two perforated circular holes on each half on the object. An incomplete finger ring consisting only of the bezel of probable Roman date, specifically the second half of the 1st century and first half of the 2nd century. The upper surface of the ring has a large oval recess (13.2 x 8.9mm) which would have taken a setting; probable traces of adhesive are visible. The shoulders are slightly bevelled. The ring has been broken on both sides below the shoulders. The patina is a dark brown colour. The ring is an example of a Guiraud Type 2 (Henig Type II/III). It weighs 2.8g and measures 15.53mm in lenth and 8.9mm in width.
