A copper-alloy strap end of Early Medieval date of Thomas Class A Type 2. It is almost complete, just missing a small part at the split attachment end due to old breaks. It is flat and sub-oval in shape with straight sides that taper to a rounded terminal end. The terminal is zoomorphic in design, representing a mouse-like animal with two hemispeheres representing the nose, the two circular indentations above for eyes and two circles above for the ears. An incomplete copper-alloy mount of medieval date. It is flat rectangular strap end which is traingular in cross section. There does not appear to be any decoration although there is an apparently integrally cast pellet. It may possibly be a girdle hanger or brooch fragment. The recorder has not seen the object and the identification is from the photograph only. The photograph was kindly provided by the finder.

A copper-alloy strap end of Early Medieval date. It is a Thomas Class A Type 2 strap end and is complete. It is flat and sub-oval in shape with convex sides that taper towards the attachment end. The front face of the strap end is decorated with a zoomorphic head at the terminal end. This is probably a mouse with a square snout, two pellets for eyes and two circular ears above. Behind the ears of the mouse the strap end widens and appears to be decorated with a geometric pattern within a rectangular border. It is decorated with a double row of pellets along all edges except the folded edge. It measures 25.19mm in length, 8.84mm in width, 3.82mm in thickness and weighs 1.01g. It is similar to examples published from London (Egan and Pritchard, 1991, no 749).

An incomplete cast copper-alloy strap end of Medieval date. It is a rectangular strap end with a pointed end which is been folded over at the sides and tip to enclose the strap. The reverse shows signs of solder suggesting that there was a cover over the back. There is a circular hole in the attachment end for a separately cast iron rivet which is present. It measures 27.11mm in length, 11.74mm in width, 2.67mm in thickness and weighs 1.31g.
