An incomplete copper alloy symmetrical continental plate brooch, of Roman dating (1st to 2nd Century AD). Around 75% of the brooch is present, consisting of the head and plate. The foot is missing. The head of the brooch has a zoomorphic or acorn terminal, behind this are the axis bar pin lugs for a hinged pin. The plate is cross shaped, with a central square panel. A complete gold and rock crystal finger ring, of Post Medieval dating (AD 1600 to AD1700). The finger ring has a distorted hoop of 'D-shaped' section, widening from the back to the bezel.
