A cast copper alloy single looped buckle frame, of Medieval dating (14th Century AD). The buckle frame is sub oval in plan, with two protruding corner knops . The strap bar is square in section and offset. The frame is decorated by two oval protruding corner knops, with three perpendicular grooves between them in the centre of the loop. These grooves presumably acted as the pin rest rest as well as being decorative. The back of the frame is plain and undecorated. The pin is missing, presumably lost in antiquity.
